What we collect

When you use the eligibility checker we store your answers (heating type, tenure, mains-gas status, property type and postcode) together with the result the checker showed you. If you ask CoolGrant to review your result we also store your first name, email and — if you provide it — your phone number.

Why we collect it

To review your quote request, contact you about the next step and, if a suitable option becomes available, ask whether you want an introduction to an MCS-certified installer.

Who we share it with

We do not automatically send your quote-request details to installers. If we identify a suitable installer, we will tell you who they are and ask before sharing your personal details. We do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

We set a retention-review date when we accept your request. At review we delete or anonymise details that are no longer needed for an active request, a legal obligation or resolving a complaint. You can ask us to delete your details sooner.

Your rights under UK GDPR

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@coolgrant.co.uk and we'll respond within one month.

Cookies and analytics

We use no third-party analytics and set no tracking cookies. We keep aggregate daily counts of checker starts, step completions and result screens shown — never visitor IDs, IP addresses or any personal data.
